Long before releasing music, Printz Tone already understood what makes certain songs last. Growing up singing along to classics and later traveling during his military years, he noticed how some tracks stay connected to specific memories forever. That realization shaped his philosophy as an artist. “Music is like a timestamp,” he explains. “I want my music to last and have that feel.” For Printz, music isn’t about complexity it’s about connection.
His latest single, “You Got Me,” embodies that philosophy. The record was intentionally built around feeling good rather than trying to impress. “The song was inspired by the summertime and the feel you get from going out and having fun,” he says. It’s music for real life for sunshine, for movement, for moments people will remember years from now. And the goal is simple: “I want my listeners to feel good… it should almost make you want to dance a little.” It’s R&B with warmth, joy, and ease.
